Welcome to Our School

The purpose of this website is to introduce you to Hill View Infant Academy and to provide information you may find useful.

We provide education for children aged 3 to 7 years. We have a large nursery for 104 children aged 3-4 and we are a four form entry school from Reception to Year 2.  We are part of a MAT (Multi-Academy Trust) with Hill View Junior Academy.

As our reputation and OFSTED reports (2001 and 2007) fully endorse, we have many strengths. These include very high standards of teaching throughout the school, demanding expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour. In addition to this we firmly believe in providing all children with a wide range of opportunities, sporting, musical, cultural, recreational and social. We offer extended care for both nursery and school children from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Our aim is to provide each child with an education that will equip them to become responsible citizens, to make informed choices having both self respect and respect for others. To achieve this we provide an extensive range of opportunities beyond the school day, in a caring and safe atmosphere.
Please enjoy browsing our website where you will find much more about the life of our school.

Kind regards

A message from the staff at Hill View Infant Academy!

To all our families, I hope you are all staying inside and keeping safe. To our amazing children - please don’t be worried about Coronavirus, lots of brilliant grown ups are working hard to help us, I hope you all clap lots on a Thursday night to say thank you! Staying inside will not last forever and we can’t wait to see you all back at school as soon as possible. In the meantime, read your teachers' messages on the class pages, be kind to each other, be good for your grown ups, be hopeful and STAY SAFE!

Hello there children!!!

Firstly I’d like to tell you all Sonny now has a little baby brother; a beautiful boy called Teddy. We are enjoying all this time in our home getting to know him. He has just started to smile & loves looking out of the window at the birds in our garden.
I hope you are all well & are enjoying a extra little holiday from school.
I wonder how many of you have been making rainbows for all the special people working hard to help our country at the moment.
Take care my little Hill Viewers!
See you all soon

Hello everyone!

We miss you all so much! School has been very quiet without you.

Thank you so much to the children who have been in school. Their parents have very important jobs at the moment and so they have to be in school with us. They have been wonderful and have kept a smile on all of our faces!

Remember to play, sing, dance, draw, read and create. And wash your hands.

Be hopeful. If you feel worried tell a trusted adult who can keep that worry for you.

No matter what happens we will see you all very soon. We wish you and your families well and send all our love.
