We are always trying to find better ways of communicating with our whole school community and have now launched a smartphone app. The app is free to download for iPhones, Windows and Android Phones. The app can be used to receive some school messages We would like to encourage ALL parents and carers to download our FREE school App as there are a number of benefits both to you and for our school: • It’s free for parents to download. • All school messages will be sent securely • No need to search through the school website for important messages or up to date information. • Read and respond to school messages at work, at home or on the go • Every message sent arrives as an instant alert on your mobile. *(important – see below) *At the moment you’ll be aware that we send text messages to you from time to time especially for urgent situations. We will continue to do this at present although if parents use the App we may look to use this facility instead- thus savings money.) To download the App for free from either the Apple APP store or the Google Play store simply search ‘Hill View Infant School’ Remember to allow “Push Notifications” when you install the app, so you get a notice each time we add something. If you choose not to download this app you will not miss out. All information is still available on the school website and via regular text messages from the school office.
