  • OPAL project
    We want to say a very big thank you to everyone who brought resources in to school to help set up our OPAL playground.
  • Free School Meals Funding
    Please can we ask that if any parent/carer is entitled to Free School Meals, it would benefit the school if you made us aware. Although every child is now entitled to a free meal the school STILL receive funds for your child if entitled.
  • Class 7 trip to Rainton Meadows
    What a wonderful time class 7 had at Rainton Meadows.
  • Attendance Challenge Week
    Well done to all children who have made it in to school everyday so far this week. Our current attendance is 96%. We have sweet treats at the ready for children on Friday.
  • Book Fair
    A reminder the postponed book fair is on all week in the school hall.
  • Primary Awards Ceremony - Anti-bullying
    Mrs Kyle and the AB crew spent a wonderful day at the council chambers to celebrate the 7th annual ‘Anti Bullying Event’. We won ‘Outstanding achievement for a whole school approach to Anti Bullying that’s made a positive impact on our school’.
  • Planetarium
    Nursery and Class 9 have enjoyed spending time in a planetarium as part of their space topics.
  • Skipping festival
    Well done to some of our year 2 children who came second in the infant school skipping festival today. We are now in the final!
  • We are winners!
    Hill View Infant Academy have been recognised by the City of Sunderland for their outstanding achievement and commitment to Anti Bullying.
  • FRED DAY
    Thank you once again to all who came. Our children are still talking about it!
