  • Making the most of the rain in Nursery!
    Nursery children had the most wet and wonderful fun in nursery today!
  • Enterprise Week
    Click the link below to see the fantastic advert / video made by class 11 to 'persuade' you to buy their crispy cakes on Wednesday this week. P.S. Don't forget there is a tuck shop on the yard at 3pm ran by class 8.
  • Enterprise Week - Class 4
    Enterprise week started in well in class 4. The children have been visiting classes around school with our big jar of sweets.
  • Our duckling eggs have arrived!
    Nursery have 10 ducklings eggs which they will watch hatch and grow over the next few weeks. Mrs Stockley even has a paddling pool so that we can watch them swim!
  • Outdoor Classroom Day
    Yesterday (23rd May) was national outdoor classroom day. At Hill View we pride ourselves on our wonderful, learning rich outdoor classrooms.
  • Class 1 and 4 at Durham Castle
    Class 1 & 4 had a brilliant trip to Durham castle to enhance the learning on their topic. It was a fabulous day and they learned so much and also got to enjoy the sunshine!

  • Peter and the wolf orchestra in school
    We enjoyed a visit from musicians from Sunderland Symphony Orchestra, to promote Peter and the Wolf concert at the Empire. Children saw and heard the sounds of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion and even took part in activities with drums and masks.
